Dr. Sarah Scank opened JP PetCare in April of 2017. She is a graduate of Purdue University. Dr. Scank really enjoys surgery. Not only does she do surgery here, but she also spends time at various shelters in surrounding counties spaying and neutering dogs and cats to help fight against pet overpopulation. Dogs and mules complete her family at home.

Dr. Cynthia Wesley joined our clinic in June of 2021 after previously working for Dr. Scank for 6 years. She is a graduate of Purdue University. Dr. Wesley really enjoys working on challenging cases! In her free time, she is with her husband, riding their horses with their dogs by their side.

Dr. Whitney Whistler started her career with us in June of 2020. She is a graduate of Purdue University. Dr. Whistler enjoys being able to help your sick pets in need and also seeing them for their yearly visits. At home, she enjoys boating and camping with her children and husband. Two dogs and a cat complete her family.

Amy, who is originally from Sullivan County, now lives in Terre Haute along with her husband and two miniature dachshunds. She started her veterinary career here in 2017. She then went to an office closer to home, but then came to realize that she belongs here at JP PetCare. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jess is one of our Veterinary Assistants. She has worked alongside Dr. Wesley since 2015. If your pets are here with us Jess will be caring for them as her own. At home, you will find her working around her farm and enjoying the outdoors.

Carmen has been a Veterinary Assistant since 1996. If your pet is here for surgery, Carmen will be the assistant helping throughout surgery and recovery. When not in surgery, she is doing maintenance around the building keeping everything going the way it should. At home Carmen lives with her wife and three dogs.

My name is Kiery, I am an RVT. I graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in 2014 and have been in love with the field ever since. I joined the family here at JP Petcare in September 2022. I have 2 adorable feline fur babies; Ume and Kevin. We enjoy laser lights and thunderstorm snuggles.

Katie joined the clinic in April 2023 then moved to Indiana in May. She has previous veterinary clinic experience, ranging from assisting technicians and manning reception. Her veterinary background ranges in both small and large animals. Katie has a strong passion for giant breeds, but loves small, brachycephalic ones, too! She loves assisting with fostering gentle giants and assisting with giant breed nutrition. Katie shares a home with her fiancé and toddler. Their family is complete with a French Bulldog, Junie, and Boston Terrier puppy, Josie. They spend their free time together at home on Lake Sullivan.

Kristy has been a veterinary receptionist since 2016. She has a passion for super senior dogs and making every day the best day ever for the remainder of their lives. At home she has a nose work dog and a therapy dog.
